There are only a few steps that you need to take to get involved in important topics like Abortion, Health Care, Federal Spending, and National Defense. The Senate Sets Aside a Bill to Restrict Federal Funding for Abortion, probably for good.


Sen. Ben Nelson's (D-Neb.) amendment 2962 (To prohibit the use of Federal funds for abortions.) was voted 54-45 to motion to table, or set aside.  So it looks like American tax payers will most likely be paying for women's abortions if the Health Care bill is passed.

If you do not agree with paying for abortion you may want to contact your representative in the senate.
